Warning!
flashing
rapidly flickering imagery and fast-moving gifs which may affect ppl with seizures or other visual sensitivity. large moving elements generally respect ur device's reduced motion settings
unreality
unlabeled fake or misleading content, like conspiracy theories, fake ads, or simulated glitches. these are not designed to be upsetting or malicious
gore
depictions of fictional injury, flesh, bones, or blood. this also includes candy gore, in which body parts are made of unnatural materials like fruit or candy
mobile
i try 2 make pages mobile-friendly when i have the time, but this site is always going 2 look best on a large scr33n.
some features may not work correctly without a mouse!!
javascript
all pages on this site require javascript to run correctly - u wont b able 2 access games or other interactive content without it, and many pages may not load
iframes
i use iframes to embed both local content, like chat windows, and external content, like youtube videos. if ur browser doesnt allow iframes, some areas may be empty - strongly recommend enabling them if u can!
accessibility
i do my best to make the site accessible where i can. keep in mind that it is mostly an experimental art project, some pages prioritize aesthetics and silliness over function.
site settings
most pages have a gear icon you can click to open the settings menu. this includes a section for site-wide accessibility options. choices are saved to your browser and applied to all pages!
map
i've mostly designed things to be found by exploring, but the site map (accessible here after you've accepted the warnings) also displays a near-complete list of pages along with some accessibility status info for each one.
typing quirks
numbers in place of letters, abbreviations, misspellings, and other non-essential text silliness can be disabled via the proper english checkbox in the settings menu.
screenreaders always receive the proper english version.
custom cursors
many pages have custom cursors for aesthetics. if you want default cursors instead, check the default cursor box in the settings menu.
custom scrollbars
some elements use javascript scrollbars (including this one, if you're not using a touchscreen!) check the default scrollbars box in the settings menu to disable them. scrollbar CSS styling supported by your browser may still be used.
if you notice a screenreader or keyboard navigation problem, please send me a message on neocities or email admin@codecreature.net and i'll do my best to correct it if i can!!
